Oh yeah BABY!!!!!!!! I collected Ghost Rider when I was a kid. Favorite comic book hero. I will probably go to the theater, seeing as my g/f acts like she wants to see it too.

Dude, I will finally be home (for a little while) tonight and will finally install/setup MSN Messenger.

I'll definetly go to the cinema to catch this one!

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Looks corny as hell, that and the fact that Nicolas Cage is in it is enough to keep me well away from it. :P

What's wrong with Nicolas Cage? Not that he's my favourite actor, I'm just curious.

I don't mind Nicholas Cage either. I'm not a big fan of Eva Mendes, but it's not that big of a deal.

Worst comic adaptation i've ever seen!!! And thats coming from someone who has been a long time Ghost Rider fan and was so hoping to a movie that could do the comic justice. This was not the case. For the moment we'll put bad acting and special effects aside and talk about how the story wasn't even close to anything that was portrayed in the comic books, ( I'm suprised they got the names right.) John Blaze was nothing like he was in the books... he was some goofy misrepresentation of what he should have been which is a dark and brooding figure. And speaking of characters... who let Peter Fonda be Mephistopheles and the kid from American Beauty be Blackheart... to say the least the casting was dismal. As for the special effects, they were so comic bookish that they made it look like a joke, the flaming skull looked like it was two sizes too small for the body.

Over all the movie didn't take itself seriously at all, it showed no prior knowledge of what the comic book was about. They should have made the movie about Dan Ketch instead of John Blaze anyways

Ok, I know this thread is old, but I had to post. I just recently saw this movie. I am FLOORED that it was #1 at the box office for 2 WEEKS! This movie was truly horrible. Sorry for doubting anyone that warned me.

I saw a trailer and thought it looked like a generic US action movie.
Good for watching with friends on the weekend.

I'd not watch it at the movies, but I'd not be averse to watch it at home or a friend's place. As long as I don't have to pay for it. ;)

I'm fine with Nicholas Cage. Don't hate him nor like him.

May 16th...

The best film Nicholas Cage was ever in was Con Air.

I saw it this Friday. It was OK, but not the best Marvel material ever. I still think Spider-Man and Wolverine in X-Men was the best live motion characters they made.
