It's usually easier to go for the 'cheaper' CD versions, I believe...

After reading through this thread I decided to go for the emulator, then looked at the size of the ROM's and shouted "WHOA, NELLIE!" Those things are huge! I guess the only way I'll get to experience this one is to buy the console as well. I was looking into it because of Manuel's picture  .

yeah...emus are really the way to go I think...yeah the files are huge...but an external drive is cheaper than a AES...the cd rom system is way to slow...and yeah the MVS is a viable option...but to much of a hassle to aquire....I plugged in my notebook (where I run Neo Rage & Mame..) to my 37" lcd...and it freakin rocks...I never in my life thought I would be playing stuff like Pulstar, Last Resort and any of the Metal Slugs at home...arcade perfect. I do have a console but only as a novelty...I only have four stupid games for it...
