What is your favorite game for the good old N64? I'm hoping to get some ideas for some previously unheard of gems to check out.

I would have to say Ocarina of Time followed by Mario 64. Sorry, unlikely that they're previously unheard of! Another great and more underrated game (but still pretty common) is Blast Corps. Blowing up stuff is always good.

Same as Daynum. Ocarina of Time and very very closely followed by Mario 64. For me you could also call it a tie. Those two surely rank in the Top10 of the best video games ever.

Well, I need to get the three listed. I've completed OoT on the GameCube, but of course you need to have the actual cart. and I didn't have Mario 64 for my N64 back then, so I need to find it and actually play through it. Also, it seems rather hard to find now... Blast Corps. was great, but it was hard! I'll have to see if I can find it as well.

I didn't find Blast Corps all that difficult to beat once I'd gotten used to controlling the various vehicles. However trying to beat the platinum times I swear was nigh on impossible. I think I managed to get about 1 of those.

I played it years ago at a friend's house, we played it all the time. I can't remember exactly what was hard about it, perhaps it was the platinum times... oh well, I guess I'll remember when I find the cart :)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time I wasn't a huge fan of the N64, but that game rocks! http://robertlbryant.com

If you like soccer you should try International Superstar Soccer 64. Great controls and big fun.
When you say platformers... Donkey Kong 64 was fun, too. And the Banjo games.

Banjo Kazooie, and Banjo Tooie are on the list of must haves, unfortunately none of the local places have them... I'm not a fan of sports games at all though...

I love Banjo Kazooie. Banjo Tooie is also on my must have list but unforntunately always seems to be a bit on the expensive side. Hopefully it will pop up somewhere nice and cheap.

I don't know about a review but Bomberman 64 was a great puzzle like game, you had to use the bombs to figure out the levels and stuff. I liked fighting the bosses.

My favorite is Ocarina of Time! Also, Super Mario 64. Along with Goldeneye! Goldeneye is a great game. But all of those are well known games, so I'll give so good games you may not have heard of, or are just great games. Space Station Silicon Valley Conkers Bad Fur Day F-Zero X Gauntlet Legends Snowboard Kids 1, and 2 are great games, but you don't like sport games so... Also, you should get Resident Evil 2, and if you like RPG's, get Paper Mario. :D hope this helps.

I actually liked the jumping abilitys. Actually the whole game changed the limitations of bomberman. You could jump, you could throw bombs without pumping . . . The game made up for this with the difficult levels and bosses. I hated the last world were you fought advanced verions of the bosses from before.
