Is that thing going for $250?!? I haven't read up too much on the thing, besides the faults that the Japan release had. Geez, that IS insane! And you know what the funniest part about that is... They'll sell out of them. You know, Sony and their typical 'not enough product' crap. That's pretty cool how you got your DS. Is it in good shape (i.e. no screen scratches)? Two games with it, too. Lucky! http://robertlbryant.com

Nice grab. It's always good to have friends who don't know what they want. I'll buy my DS used in Japan. I think I can get it for under 100$ there. And games for around 25$. :)
And most used stuff in Japan is in very good condition.

I want to get a DS soon, too. And I hope there will be good RPGs in the near future. And cool puzzle games. The DS seems very suitable for puzzle games.

Now NES and Sony are taking it to the handhelds  NES has owned the handhelds division, thats probably why Sony made the PSP, they want to show NES can't compete. All these products do no of days is just go into things not involved with Video games, they alow you to play musiic an dvds on these things. NES is actually being smart to stay w/ videogames but since the customers want a multi-tasking console, NES has no choice but to follow the already walked path in the woods of Sony and Microsoft

Yes, one reason I don't want a PSP is that I don't need all the extra stuff. When I buy a GAME handheld I buy it for games and not for UMD movies that cost more than the actual DVD... that's too silly. All the extras cost money, I'm not willing to pay more for gadgets I don't use anyway.

Thats a good deal. I don't think the PSP is worth it. Also, I think I heard it is selling like crap.

Congrats to your DS. Graphics may be worse than on PSP, but gameplay is much more important. When I want good graphics I want them on a big screen and can get it with the current and next gen consoles. :)

The 3 most improtant things in a game to me is gameplay, music, and storyline.

I don't think graphics really matter to most of us in here (considering that most of us are still hung up on our NES). I would have to super, very much agree that storyline and gameplay are most important. What good is a game if it's "Flash" but no fun? I think in a lot of the newer systems they put way too much work into the way it looks rather than the way it plays. http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.
