How did it break? I purchased one of those little "suitcases" that can hold all the peripherals and games, too. I think it'll be safe in there. Maybe you sat on yours?

the same thing happened to a friend of mine, only he wasn't quite as stupid as you...

he was playing it, then he closed it up, stuck it in his pocket to go to the store, got home and decided to play some more, and the top screen was all cracked and broken. it was extremely cold that day, so the assumption is that's the cause. but Nintendo wouldn't believe that, they accuse him of smashing it around, and the cold just pushed some cracks open. They expect him to pay $75 to have it repaired.

The young people these days are too careless... poor DSs.

I wonder how many DSs (and also PSPs) already broke...

Uhhh...a replacement screen COVER maybe, but not a replacement screen. The average joe is NOT going to be able to replace a busted screen himself.

Some people I tell you. If I ever had the privilege of owning one, I would treat it better than I do people (then again I am kinda a jerk towards people). Anyway I wouldn't let anyone near it! (In Golum voice) My precious!!!!

I need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

I'm also after broken stuff, but it's hard to get here in Japan. They don't sell it in stores.
