"ToddVania" wrote:(was it Roth)? Yes sir, sure was... that was when I had more patience though. I conquered Gremlins 2 finally. What an awesome game. I love all the challenge of the conveyors over pits, and the enemies taking more than one shot (if you don't have the power-up). Very fun game indeed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/I_am_Roth/conquered/gremlins_2.jpg http://robertlbryant.com

I just finished up "Black" on Black Ops mode, it's now 100% complete. Total play time is 29:43. For a game that's so short, I've got substantially more time into it than I do into Half-Life 2. That must show just how good it is while it lasts.

Just conquered Kid Klown in between painful sessions of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This game is pretty awesome actually. It has an average storyline, but it's still pretty entertaining. You can do lots of cool stuff with your balloons (which is your weapon) like jump off of them, throw them in many directions, and float with them. By the way, after conquering the game, they give you a button sequence to enter at the title screen to activate hard mode. This game was made by Kemco, yet check out the sequence: U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,B,A :P Just a tad familiar, no? Anyway, here's my pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/I_am_Roth/conquered/kid_klown.jpg http://robertlbryant.com

Just finished up Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. That game is excellent. It's an extremely well made action platformer, lots of puzzles, lots of awesome platforming... it's just incredible. Anyone who doesn't rush out and grab it immediately (especially for this price) is insane.

Finished Suikoden V , Chip and dales rescue rangers on NES and Kid Klown.
If your into RPGS you need to get Suikoden V. Very long and fun game to play with an excellent story. It has very much improved over the 3 and 4 games GREATLY by going back to the old school style gameplay. I highly suggest it.

Since last night I've conquered Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting and Final Fight on the Capcom Classics Collection for the XBox, and I finished up Grand Prix mode on Mario Kart DS. Finally have all the karts and characters unlocked. EDIT: Just finished Street Fighter II on the Capcom Collection. (yes, Hyper Fighting and SFII are different)

Is the capcom collection worth 12$? That's the price I saw it for in a toy store (XBox).
I hooked up my Japanese N64 I bought in Japan last year and played a bit Yoshi's Story. And after fooling around a bit it was over already. :) Very easy game, now I might try to access all the other levels I left out.
May 16th...

There's also art, remixed music (that, in some cases can be substituted for the normal game music while playing), and tips that can be unlocked.

Yeah, it's worth that price and more. It always surprises me how inexpensive the collections of old arcade games are. Lucky for us retro game lovers. I finally finished Final Fantasy 1 tonight. Level 41, maxed out gold, cabins, houses, tents, etc. Very fun game. I guess I'll try for the maximum level next.

Just finished story mode on Tony Hawk's American Sk8land for the DS. It seemed even easier than the console version... Fortunately the WiFi is a redeeming factor on this version, and it was a good $20 cheaper than the console version.

Just went through and conquered today: Super Mario Brothers 1 (not the arcade Vs. version discussed earlier, but the original NES console cart). Super Mario Brothers 2, and my wife's patience actually lasted clear through to world 6 of SMB 3. Odd question, however: is it a real conquerage if you use the warp zones in Super Mario games (especially 2)? I just wanted to make a quick run through them. I don't usually use the warp zones.
