Just finished Zelda II. I forgot what a complete pain that last palace is; I haven't finished that game since I was like, 19  . The reflexes have gone down the toilet. Hopefully I can finish Maniac Mansion now before midnight and "The Game Of The Week" changes. It's one hell of a more relaxing game.

"Malon_Forever" wrote:Did you like it? I saw a preview about it, and looked interesting. Was it fun. I love it, which is an opinion it seems not a lot of others share. People whine about the graphics, and that it's repetitive, I've even seen a few people that claim to have been "bored after 10 minutes". They must not have been able to get the wrapping open, and got bored with the struggle, because I have 34 hours of play into it in the last 3-4 days, all of it was enjoyable. Just don't get the PS2 version...

Embarassingly, I have a tendancy to bash games, then feel sorry for them and go play the. Quite often, this leads to me becoming good at them and then liking them. You are probably all familiar with my rant about SMB2 on either a Mario poll or the game's own thread. One month after writing that, I played it. Two months after it, I played to win. And I did. So about one month ago I beat it, thus making it another one of my slaves. So, to recap...
SMB2!!!!!!
If you think you're right, you're probably wrong. If you think you're wrong, you're being negative. My thoughts are definitive; the universe is frequently wrong.

Finished Quake 4 on the 360. it's a horrible port that suffers from inexcusable framerate issues, and the last boss is disappointingly easy.

Beat Zelda II again (for some reason I've become addicted to that one all over again), and thanks to Roth's video hints, I beat NES Double Dragon, it's the only time I've been able to beat that one since it was new! :D

Call of Duty 2 on the 360 on "Hardened" difficulty. Now I need to do "Veteran" for the achievements. Anyone concerned with my lack of NES gaming as of late need only play the 360 to understand.

Well, I've been kinda busy on conquering. First off: I just beat X-Men. I haven't gotten around to recording a movie of it yet, as I just got done finishing it: http://roth.zhxhome.net/conq/x-men.jpgI've gone through Jaws and Golgo-13: Top Secret Episode, both with pics and movies: http://roth.zhxhome.net/conq/jaws.jpghttp://roth.zhxhome.net/conq/movies/jaws.ziphttp://roth.zhxhome.net/conq/golgo13_top_secret_episode.jpghttp://roth.zhxhome.net/conq/movies/golgo13_top_secret_episode.zip... and FINALLY I've gotten through Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! One problem though. I was recording it on VirtuaNES and beat it. I wasn't sure if I was actually going to, but I was recording for a coming up NES Tips ;) Anyway, I'm having trouble conquering it a second time so I can take a pic on the NES :/ So for now, there is just the movie: http://roth.zhxhome.net/conq/movies/dr_jekyll_and_mr_hyde.zip http://robertlbryant.com

Tomb Raider: Legend on the 360. Finally the series is worth playing. no more irritating movement controls, this game is just very playable.

Damn it, I've got to get out of this retro game kick I'm on and start this one before the next installment comes out! Don't know if it counts, but I got through several of the Chinese Year symbols (stages) on Shanghai III (MAME Tai-Pei type game).

Just beat Knights of the Round on normal. Damn, what a fun game. Personally, I prefer it to the Golden Axe games. It also reminded me of how much I want a Super Nintendo. Unfortunately, saving cash isn't an option now that I have to pay bus fare.
The SiniLegion wants YOU!Signature mostly fixed by Luke. ;)
