I am so on top of this. Just a note, there's a rumor that if the sales of this Dragon Warrior do well, Dragon Warrior V will finally find it's way to North American shores. One can only hope, but I'm gonna jump on this. Dragon Warrior is one sweet RPG series. My List. Remember, everything can be bought, for a price.

I hope for you that you get those games in the US. Those are really great. I will definitely buy them in Japan when they are cheap, unless I don't even own a PS2 yet. :)

Here's is the link to download the trailer for DQ VIII. This trailer played on G4TV's Cinematech last week. One notable difference from the Japanese version is that, Kukule's name has been changed to Angelo. http://www.dragonquestonline.com/media/DQVIII_US_TRAILER.wmv Support the Dragon Quest series!Werewolf) Dragon Quest IX!

I'm a video game fan. :) I haven't played any of the Dragon Warrior games past part four. I really should've grabbed seven when it was out, but I didn't. I think I may grab this one though. I'm interested in seeing how the series has progressed. http://robertlbryant.com

Quote:anyone know if VII is good? This is an excellent RPG that boasts some of the best gameplay and one of the greatest stories of any RPGs I've played. The puzzles and riddles that are so abundant in the game are both challenging, and logical, and add a lot to the game play. http://na.square-enix.com/games/dragon-warrior7/ Support the Dragon Quest series!Werewolf) Dragon Quest IX!

"NES-Luke" wrote:if it were on the GameCube, I'd be a lot more excited... I'm not a Sony fan... The same sentence could have come from me. :D I'm a videogame fan (as Roth said), but for some reason I dislike Sony. I have an aversion to it. Though... if I had the money I'd probably buy the Sony consoles just because of the Square-Enix and Namco games...

It is a hard to find game. I bougth it last year at EB games(used), for $30. Your desires to follow in your father’s footsteps and become a fisherman are quickly abated when the adventuresome Prince Kiefer and the lovable Maribel convince you to go on a quest with them. Traveling back through time, you’ll try to solve puzzles and unravel mystery after mystery in this involving game for the PlayStation. The purpose of the game is to discover lost continents and use secret information in order to help preserve these mysterious lands for the future. If you fail, these magical kingdoms and their inhabitants will, once again, meet their ends. The real question here is what deadly force pushed these lands into extinction in the first place, but you’ll need to find out a whole lot before you can begin to answer that riddle. A tremendous epic that gamers of all skill levels can get into, Dragon Warrior VII is a worthy entry in this long-running series. Support the Dragon Quest series!Werewolf) Dragon Quest IX!

This game looks great. I know someone on another board that said, it took them 85 hours to beat it, and 25 hours to level up. Sounds like a great long game! Some else also said it lacks great story though... :(

I wouldn't say it lacks great story, I think the story sounds interesting. DQ 8 revolves around a mystical scepter which is stolen by an evil jester named Dhoulmagus. Dhoulmagus cast a curse upon the kingdom of Trodain, transforming people into thorns and deforming the king and the princess into beasts. You must seek out Dhoulmagus and reverse the curse to save the king. Watch this video! Support the Dragon Quest series!Werewolf) Dragon Quest IX!
