I think it's a pretty good system, myself. I used to own one as a lot of you may already know, and I hated to let it go. I'm not quite sure why everyone knocks the Box (I'm a poet! :) ) honestly. I had lots of fun with the few games that I had, and the hardware is awesome compared to any other system out right now. I haven't really looked into what their recent library of games is, but I'm sure there's enough by now to warrant a purchase of it. The price seems about right for the system itself, I think. Also, I've never heard anyone complain about the system taking a dive and stop working. Sure, there was the cord deal that happened, but that was quickly resolved by the company. All in all, it's a good system. What you always have though, are people so dedicated to one thing, that they feel it's their duty to put down the competition that's out there, no matter how good it is. It'll always be like that unfortunately, but the ones who know how good it is get to revel in that fact. :D http://robertlbryant.com

I like mine, i've had it just over a year now and have got 20 games. Halo and Halo 2 are definately over rated - but i think this has been covered previously. I was suprised at how good it was - i thought it would be pants - but after playing a friends i just had to get one :)

I don't hate X-Box, but I hate Micorsoft.

Are they comparable to other games in their genres (as far as awesomeness)? Sorry dude, I haven't actually played either of those games. I don't think I've even read up on them, either. What kind of games are they? I think I remember hearing good stuff about Panzer Dragoon, but I think that was a different one than what you're talking about. ?: [quote:8ca1301039="Malon_Forever"]...but I hate Micorsoft.[/quote] Trust me, you're not alone on that. http://robertlbryant.com

Everybody "knocks the Box" because it's from Microsoft. :) There are some people out there who don't like M$. I think that's the only reason.
I don't really hate it, I just don't buy it.

I saw Ninja Gaidne at EB games yesterday for X-box, and I was wishing I had X-Box. I was so tempted to get an X-Box. Anways, I didn't since I only has 6 bucks. :D So I got Ninja Gaiden II for the NES :D . I love it. I picked it up for 4.99.

I LOVE MY XBOX!! The story line behind Halo 1 is a little weak but Halo 2s story line was much better. Those games are best when u got like 8 friends together, hook a few boxs together hours and hours of fun. I like xbox so much because u can modify them alot. I ran linux on mine for a while :D even ran an nes emulator M$ can kiss my NES lol

I don't really hate it, I just don't buy it. PS2 is the only system that is truly perfect now. Although I don't think it's that great to tell you the truth. Gamecube is underrated because it doesn't have violent games or special features like the X-Box and PS2. I like non-violent games........ Like if I didn't see a specific game I was looking for I would get something else that I think I want. Or something I haven't evn heard of if I just can't bear getting a NES game. Weird huh?
Maybe it's better if I didn't have an avatar so i didn't have to spend all my time making one...

No system is perfect. No system ever (prob.) will be perfect. Anways I agree with NESFER. Also...I went to EB games again, and...I bought Ninja Gaiden III! I couldn't help myself to it. It was only 9.99. :D
