The exploit which you refer to is for 2.0.10 and previous. I installed 2.0.11 a while ago, as you can see at the bottom of the page. I checked phpbb's site anyways, and found there was a potential exploit(less serious) with php 4.3.9, so I upgraded that to 4.3.10. We should be safe. Either way, I back files up regularly. Thanks for bringing it up, though. -- Derek

cool, just figured I should ask about it... it would suck to lose the information we're quickly amassing.

You know, I can't stand people who write viruses and such. It does absolutely nothing to solve anything or help anything! Just two days ago I got a virus sent to me in my e-mail. Thank goodness for Yahoo having a virus scan! http://robertlbryant.com

bragging rights, that's what good it does... it's all for the right to say 'I broke this' or 'I crashed that'

Yeah, but what ever happened to the hackers who would break into something just to say "I did it!" Why does it have to be destructive? It just makes me mad. http://robertlbryant.com

anyone can just break in to something now, you have to prove it, and the easiest way to do that is to break things. and if that's not good enough, you write a script to break lots of things with minimal effort on your part.
