Airfiggy, where did you draw the conclusion he meant the main www.nesfiles.com page? He's talking in the forum, so he probably meant the forums part of the site is blocked. I know at my school all http://forums adresses are immediately websensed :(

But have you tried Proxys? There must be away around all this crap. Forum sites are not blocked here at my School. But sites like Youtube and Myspace are. And they didn't block 4chan, whoo hoo! :)

So don't use 4chan too often or it will be blocked, too.
When I was in school there were no sites blocked as far as I remember. We only had ISDN for over 20 computers anyway. Ypu couldn't surf the internet very well. :(
In university I haven't found blocked sites yet. Everything I tried, worked. Even warez sites and stuff. I could also use bittorrent over the university's LAN. At maximum I had about 4-5 MB (!! Megabytes) per second downstream and around 3 MB per second upstream. I wish my connection at home would be that fast. :P Now they reduced the bandwidth for single users, but you can still use filesharing software over university (W)LAN.

Exact opposite here, we can view videos on google video, youtube, go on myspace (not like I would ever make an account) but all forums and blogs and things are blocked. God damned websense

It funny. At my school, they will block all the well known stuff, but there is "substitute" sites you can go to. For example, YouTube is blocked, but Yahoo Video isn't! :)

Ouch! As you may have noticed, I wasn't around the board the last 4 days.
Yay! It was because a friend of my wife from Hawaii came to visit us and we had 4 nice days with sightseeing (castle Neuschwanstein etc) and beer-drinking. :D

Personally, I think Infinity Ward can pull it off. CoD 2 is really as close to perfection as you should dare go. Based on the trailer, the game seems more story driven than the previous games though.

My main concern is that it's just going to be a GRAW/Rainbow 6 etc. clone. And that they may use the crappy gadgets/command your whole team that go with the territory, which i'm not too fussed on. I hope i'm wrong and it's amazing though.

I don't think I'd complain too much if it were like GRAW, I love both of those games. But it shouldn't just be a knock off. Hopefully they do it well, I have high hopes.
