The posts following Malon's were deleted, because that was either a lie, or that is just too much stupidity to remain on the boards :P As for my wound... it wasn't thrown at my head, I was preparing for the maple syrup production season, which involves digging the lines up out of the snow. When they've been down under the snow it can turn to ice, so I was using the back of the axe to break the ice (wouldn't want to damage the lines by using the front :P) but there was a wire strung up for the line to be tied to once it was out of the snow... I hit the wire with the axe, and it came back and got me in the forehead. Strangely enough there was absolutely no pain. It just felt like a little knock to the head. so I went back to the evaporator shed, and bandaged it up and went back to work. I have a photo of the wound after being cleaned up, but I'll not show it in the thread. if you're that curious, PM me.

we get quite the winter up here, huh luke? Anyways, this isnt a lie, but something very similar happened to my buddy. He was hammering plastic with the back of the axe head, and as you know, plastic has rebound in it, and the sharp point came back up and nailed him in the forehead!! :oops: Bit of a scar there now...
Ouch! I want summer to end and winter to start!! :(

Yah! My husband is out of town and I get the apt all to myself until maybe Tuesday!!!! Can anyone say P-A-R-T-Y??? : Ouch! My computer doesn't want to work (it's evil and won't even boot up correctly and just shows my windows wallpaper; no icons no toolbar) and I can't fix it!!!! :cry:
