Anyone that played the original Gunstar Heroes on the Genesis/MegaDrive is going to be jumping for joy when they see this.

I'm amazed that more people haven't posted in this thread... maybe fewer people know of it's greatness than I thought...

Homework for everyone!

What NES-Luke is referring to is the fact that alot of us haven't posted on this topic, hence it seems no one has played it.

I think the game is pretty solid. It's very Contra-esque if I remember correctly. I need to try playing that again sometime. The pics for the new port look great! I may have to get my hands on this sometime. I'll have to get my hands on the CV games for GBA first though...

IGN seems to have some more screenshots up!

I just hope this game is more like the original than like Alien Soldier, which that bar beside the weapon seems to imply...

I've tried it on an emulator... it wasn't too special, although it may be different on the console...

Well, it seems that the game is pushing the hardware of the GBA, as well...

It's gotten three awards from IGN for the E3.

There's another page after that one, there is where they talk about the graphcis award it gets. These are all based on handhelds, but still, this game is obviously going to be awesoime!!

I just get more and more excited about that game as time passes, they better not mess it up.
