Same here. The next runner up would be Konami, followed by Capcom. I think that's the order of the most. Sounds right.

Manufacturers from most to least-- only manufacturers with 10 or more games in my collection:

Nintendo - 50
Capcom - 28
Konami - 25
Acclaim - 17
Data East - 15
Ultra - 14
Jaleco - 13
LJN - 12
Sunsoft - 11
Tengen - 11
Bandai - 10

I love having my collection in SQL tables for The NES Files so I can perform queries like these. ;-)

What are the names of those games? I've been wondering what all the games Data East made were.

Wow, I didn't realize they made that many games! I thought they only made five or six. One of the games that you're missing is Werewolf: The Legend. That is an awesome comic book style game. Check it out!

People need to own more Camerica/Codemasters games...

I agree about the love for Konami games. They made the best NES games (except of course for Nintendo  ).

Yes, interests do differ. For example, I like the game Final Fantasy.

I find it weird that you would have five Ultra and one Konami game. What are the Ultra games you have? I can't even think of five Ultra games worth owning. And which Konami game do you have?

Well, the collection has grown a lot (nearly doubled I'd say) since that post, but...

Ultra:

Silent Service, Metal Gear, Skate Or Die, TMNT 1, and 2, Q*bert,

Konami:

Top Gun, Blades of Steel, King's Quest V, Contra

that I can find without examining each cart...

Of course not. :

[quote:3988043f10="dwellerofrhymes"]Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge were the Ultra games I was referring to as "worth owning"...[/quote]

Well, I'm a huge fan of Metal Gear, but not so much Snake's Revenge. It was made very hastily, I feel. The Japanese Metal Gear 2 is far superior...

I did also enjoy Star Trek 25th Anniversary, but probably fans of the original TV series would get into that game. :P
