What's your favorite SNES RPG? I know it's predictable, but mine is, and always was, Chrono Trigger.
Fear the frog, baby.

Welcome to the forums. :)

I don't know whether you saw it or not, but there is already a 2 page long thread about good SNES RPGs. I think there's not much need for a second one.
Please look around the forums and avoid making up threads with very similar titles in the future.

Sorry. I skimmed the threads, but didn't see it. I'll look harder next time.

I never actually owned my own working SNES (yet!), so I believe I've only played one RPG on it. Earthbound Zero. I've seen somebody play FFII (NTSC), but never got to see much of it.

Some of my faves are Illusion of Gaia, SoulBlazer, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG.

Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger are the best RPGs for the SNES hands down. Whoever disagrees should go to get their head examined because I feel that's the best the SNES has to offer aside from some unknowns. As for modern RPGs, I think they suck for the most part but that's just my opinion.

Illusion Of Gaia
Soul Blazer
Chrono Trigger
Lufia
Earthbound
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

I don't really know if the first two games count as RPGs, but I like them so screw you!

I have come to the conclusion that all games are RPGs, so i think you're safe.
