Hey! I just finished putting together a site called Nintendo Intensity. I left room to add more stuff to it, but tried to keep it kind of small. If you want to check it out, it's at:

...or just click on the button in my sig.

Check it out!

EDIT: Site is not up at this time.

Cool site Roth. Already looking nice. I like the animated codes, that's a good idea.

Thanks guys! I started work on this awhile ago, and wanted to wait to have more content up before I put the site up. I got a chance for some space, so I went ahead and jumped at it.

I'll be making updates to it as time goes, so I'll keep you updated.

Pretty cool :)

Did you do all those scans yourself? They're nice and clean!

NES images gallery!

Yeah, I scanned them all myself. Do they look pretty good? I felt they came out somewhat blurry. I put my scan settings at 150dpi instead of the standard 72 for the web. I wanted to have a better quality than 72, even though file size is a bit bigger. I've got more scans of Nintendo Powers on the way from a programming friend at my school. I can't wait!

You should have scanned at 300dpi (typical for print), then downsampled to web quality (72dpi) in Photoshop.

I dig the NES color scheme and one page layout, but when I go to click on the Continue with Foster's News! link, nothing happens.
I also can't view any of the "Topps Nintendo Gamepack Cards" in the Collectibles. What gives?

Don't tell me I need to get a new computer... just to view a website...

again.

hmmmm.....

You're the first person to complain about something like this. Be advised that you need to have Javascript enabled in your web browser. If that doesn't solve your problem, then I don't know what else to tell you. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

How long did it take you to finish what you made so far? By the way I think it's a great info site for NES and I've seen nothing better yet on NES info.

Maybe it's better if I didn't have an avatar so i didn't have to spend all my time making one...

Man, that's hard to judge. Alot of it was done at different times. What probably took the longest was scanning all of the scratch cards. That was a pain in the *ss. It took a little time, but actually putting it together didn't take too much time.

Also, look around the net. There are a TON of sites that have WAY more info than NI right now. But the site is off to a good start. Thanks everybody for your feedback! Keep 'em comin'!

I thought the little NES controllers on the code section were cute! It's funny I still remembered the code for Contra and I haven't played it probably since I was 7.
The booklets section was cool as well. I don't have any of the booklets for any of my games (with the exception of my Atari 2600 games). But I did notice that with the Solstice game we have sitting around here it does have to booklet and the original box *still has plastic sleeve on it* so if you need that maybe I can talk my husband into scanning it in and sending it to you the scanned images sometime (I have no clue as to how to use the scanner).
Otherwise I'm looking forward to the growth of your website!

I need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.
