Hey, my friend and I really liked back in the day playing 2 player SNES games. We are coming back to the system and looking for fun 2 player games mostly rpg/action games. An example of one that we really liked was King of the Monsters 2, and we are big fans of upgrading you character as you go(buying items ect.). I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Id say you should either try Secret of mana or Seiken densetsu 3.

Alright, I'll look into those. Pretty much any games where me and my buddy can go through levels together is good. Thanks for the suggestions.

The only ones I can think of are the two Ninja Gaiden4005 already mentioned.
Of course there are a lot other good 2p games, but rpgs or adventures? :?

Alrighty then. What are some other good 2 player games? I am pretty much just trying to avoid games like DK or Mario where one person plays a level, then the next person, and so on. It's much more fun to play simultaneously.

Cool, thanks. I was looking around and found these 3: Contra III, Run Saber, and Darius Twin. Devil that cried recommended contra, but i don't really know much about the others, so any info would be great as well as any other suggested games. Thanks guys.

Darius Twin isn't too hot as a multiplayer, however the one player mode is awesome. The game is insanely difficult (especially the last level). As for action games, I'd say the Battletoads series will more than fill that need.

There's that weird game..uhm... Super Ninja Brothers or something.. don't remember the title.. but it's kind of like an RPG, but it's got a Zelda II battle system.. and it saves your progress with passwords. I rented it once.. I can't really remember how good it was.. but I think I enjoyed it.... that was long ago. edit: Sorry it was called Super Ninja Boy...  EDIT: I think the Super Bomberman series has 2 player adventure mode.. I don't know how much other people like Bomberman, but it's one of my favorite series.... mainly because of the battle mode.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I just found a few more games that I wondered if they were any good: Legend, Ghouls N Ghosts, and the Lost Vikings. If ya know anything about these I'd really like to know. Thanks again guys.

Legend is a medieval beat em up game, it's 2 players, and it's okay.. and The Lost Vikings is also a 2 player game, where you have 3 characters and you switch through them to do different things.. it's pretty cool.
