Hello. I'm wondering what "game specific" groups people would be interested in me adding to the list(currently 'Zelda' and 'Final Fantasy'). To add a group, I'll need at least 2 people to say they want it, simply because I don't want a mostly dead group. Thoughts?
Thanks.

I could support a Ninja Gaiden or Mega Man group. Or maybe we could add a new group for specific genres. Just a thought.

I like the Ninja GaiDen idea, though I don't know how active that would be. Mega Man would be awesome. I did a search, and there are 12 topics where CastleVania is mentioned. Maybe that? http://robertlbryant.com

Well, if I can get a Castlevania game I'm sure I'll be an active participant. I should have Mega Man coming to me quite soon, so I'll be in that group if it happens to come into being.

So far:
Mega Man Ninja Gaiden
I haven't seen an official second for Castlevania yet. Anything else? I'd suggest "Super Mario Bros. Series". Anyone second?

I would second SMB, but what's left to be said about it? :P

I'd second that. Mario is what made the NES big in the first place! I believe their top selling game ever was Super Mario Bros. 3. I could be mistaken, though. http://robertlbryant.com

Or why Nintendo chose a racoon for Mario in SMB3-- the cape in Super Mario World on the SNES is much less weird, IMO... Oh, and then there's tactics, cheats, time trials, etc. I wonder how fast anyone can get through SMB1 or SMB3 without cheating(warping is legal). -- Derek

OK, if you think people will start conversations such as those, I can second it, those sound interesting enough.

Is there a way to move topics to different subjects? (i.e. the Doki-Doki thread to the Game Specific Mario section) http://robertlbryant.com

to my knowledge there is, I'm not a phpBB pro, but I've been on a few phpBB boards before, and topics have been moved.

Castlevania would be an excellent choice since it has about 15 games crossing over 10 or more consoles. And what about 'Metal Gear'? Or 'Master Chu & the Drukard Hu'? ... OK scrap that last one. http://www.playthenes.com

There are cool games that we don't talk about much that probably couldn't have it's on forum on (i.e. Dragon Warriors, Ultimas, Shadowgate, etc.). Would it be under Game Specific? http://robertlbryant.com

I think a group dedicated to RPGs would be a good idea, the current Zelda, and FF groups aren't very active...

Maybe it can be changed from Game Specific to Genre Specific. I wonder if that would work better or not? http://robertlbryant.com

I was thinking that myself, but that would kill the 'games' group I think. it's really hard to figure out what you want to add as a new group without subtracting from the others.
