I recently purchased Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube and man is it fun!. Basicly its an RPG and its set in the Tales of phantasia world for those of you that played it on SNES. The battle system is really cool, its in real time and you can do different combos and run around hitting the enemie all the while as you can also pull up a little menu and issue the AI controlled party memebers to cast their spells and what not. The AI is really good since you can select how they will do things such as when to heal and what not.

The game is really easy to learn and just to play! I highly suggest you pick it up if you like RPGS. This is a must have! VERY Long too.

I bought it a few months ago, I played about 35 hours or so in, and then left it at my girlfriend's place, she was completely in love with it.

if you like the battle system in that game, I'd strongly suggest checking out Star Ocean: The Second Story on the Playstation.

on the topic of Symphonia, I did greatly enjoy what I did play of it, there were a lot of plot twists, and you just really didn't know what to expect. I can highly recommend picking it up. especially since I think it recently had a price drop.

I got this game not so long ago. It's very good, highly recommended. I haven't got very far - only up to the point where you have to fight that big green monster in the village, as punsishment. He wupped my ass a few times and I gave up for a bit :P

As NES-Luke said, I love this game. In fact, after playing it, I tried to play FFVII for the PS1, and I just couldn't get back into it. ToS is amazing, fast paced, and has an awesome story. One day when I get ambitious I want to play Star Ocean. If you need help, I could probably lend my assistance.
