I ordered a PS2 today with a built-in Matrix Infinity chip. :)
It's expensive, but I need it to play both Japanese and PAL games.
I hope to get it next week.
(Mainly it's for my wife, though. I can't play that much, because I'm busy with my thesis... :( )

Now the hard choice is, which PS2 game are you going to play first? Good luck with the thesis.

50 CD-R Spindal for me today. :)

The first game I plan to pop in is Dragon Quest 8. I've waited to play that one for so long. :D

I had Okami already on my order list, but when I ordered they told me it was sold out.
I will surely get that game sooner or later.

Yesterday I got my Rayman Anniversary pack, including Rayman M, Rayman 2 and Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

Today an unexpected small packet from Hawaii (from my wife's friend) contained a still plastic wrapped copy of "Harukanaru toki no naka de" for PSone. The best stuff is free stuff I always say. :P

Nice find on the Rayman Anniversary pack, Manuel. :)

My brother got Diddy Kong Racing DS for his Birthday. I spent some time playing it and it feels very clunky.

Soon you can enjoy the masterpiece that Okami is. Too bad Capcom closed Clover Studios :(

BTW, why did they close those studios?
They didn't make any really bad games, did they?
The Viewtyful Joe series and Okami.
I'm sure looking forward to play that one.

Quality doesn't always pay the bills, as Clover Studio found out today.

I guess the games didn't sell as well as Sony hoped. But I did enjoy alot of Clovers games. God hand I have not yet tried but will someday.

Almost all of the Clover team still works at Capcom, I think only one guy actually ended up quitting. It was essentially just "restructuring"

Capcom would be stupid to fire all of the guys.
It's just sad, because the studio had such a cool name.
I like clovers...

The Ice Hockey and Basketball games were risky buys, they were only really bought for their multiplayer features.

There forming a new team. It's called Seeds.

The main team consists of:

Hideki Kamiya - Planner.
Director of Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Resident Evil 2. All his games have much acclaim around them and are generally seen very highly.

Masami Ueda - Composer.
Ueda has done the score for Resident Evil 1 - 3, Devil May Cry, Okami, and Viewtiful Joe 1/2.

Nao Ueda - Head Programmer.
Head programmer of Seeds. He has done work on Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 4, and Okami.

Yuta Kimura - Model Designer.
Kimura has worked with Clover and SCEJ in the past, working on the models for both Okami and Shadow of the Colossus.

Mari Shimazaki - Character Designer.
Shimazaki doesn't have much under her belt, however she did the character designs for the game Okami.

My new DS game:
Elite Beat Agents

It was between that and Yoshi's Island... EBA came highly recommended.
