And if we wanted to know everything everybody has bought... then a thread in the off-topic section would be perfect.

Oi, I've been SO broke, haven't been able to pick up any games since I got that Model 2 SNES. Picked up this today:

Super Godzilla :snes: $7 (I know, I know...but I'm a Godzilla fan)
Super Spike V'Ball :nes: $4
Nintendo World Cup :nes: $4

I own Super Spike and World Cup on the double cartridge, but I wanted the individual games. Also, out of NOWHERE, just about every single video game store in town got tons of Neo-Famis in. The US version, doesn't require a converter to play US games, and they're super cool. You can even plug REAL controllers into them if you dont like the crappy controllers that come with them (you won't). They even had the classic red/white color scheme. God, I want one so bad, but I seriously can't spring $40 for ANOTHER device to play NES games on. Soon....soon.....

Well, in the past month, I have bought....WOW.

NES:Metroid
SNES:None
N64:Gaulent Legends, Diddy Kong Racing, 1080 Snowboarding, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Glover, Iggys Reckin Balls, Yoshi Story, and War Gods. That all came about to about 76 dollars. I'm broke! I really need to earn some money.

This is one heck of a Sega haul! From a guy at school...

A Sega Saturn!

The biggest downfall of getting it is that there is no A/V cable. I went ahead and got it from him though. I figure I can find one somewhere on the net. :) Now, I don't know too much about what came with the Saturn, but here are the things I got with it...

Two controllers
A 6-player tap
A cord extension

...and the games...

Virtua Cop 2
WrestleMania: The Arcade Game
Iron Man and X-O in Heavy Metal
Hardcore 4x4
Hexen
NBA Action '98
VR Golf '97
FIFA: Road to World Cup '98
World Series Baseball II
Road Rash
Virtua Fighter 2
Mass Destruction
Soviet Strike
Frank Thomas: Big Hurt Baseball
Pebble Beach Golf Links
Jurassic Park: The Lost World
Madden '97
Myst
Black Fire
Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition
Crusader: No Remorse
Nights into Dreams (sampler)
...and a sampler called "bootleg sampler"

Some of the games look kind of scratched up, but we'll see how they perform after I get a cord. By the way, all the stuff listed put together...

$20 USD! Woo hoo!

Also from the same guy, I got...

A Game Gear w/ Caesar's Palace and Batman Returns

... and for the Genesis:

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Eternal Champions
Evander "Real Deal" Holyfield's Boxing

All those just stated for $5 USD! He also said that he has more Game Gear games around somewhere; when he finds them, he's hookin' me up! :D

Grand total of this haul: $25 USD

Man, I feel so fulfilled!

Road Rash 3 is awesome, the first two... not so much.

Samurai Shodown ROCKS!

is the arcade stick the 3 button, or 6 button one?

either way, that's a nice score.

I have no comment on Roth's find, since I've been hunting and begging for a Game Gear for about a month now... that, and he's moving in on my throne as King Luck... so yes, I'm jealous

Ha! Not to worry NES-Luke! I've paid so much money out for my previous finds, that I think it was finally my turn to catch a break on prices.

I think the title of King Luck is always to be yours! Free deals are the best deals, and you've gotten quite a few of those!

Unfortunately, I didn't see the guy at the school today. Hopefully I'll see him tomorrow to get the case for the GG and the games along with it. *crossing fingers*

Sorry for the double post guys, but...

HOLY CRAP!!!

So I'm going through my CD's next to my TV looking for my Cake CD (which I still can't find), and get to the very bottom in the back. What's this?!?

Now, before I finish, I SWORE that I sold both of the games after my original PS2 broke down with the "disc read error" deal, and wished that I still had both of the games in the pic. I can't believe it! I still do!

Just take apart PS2s that can't read and clean all the dust even the dust on the Lens. it works like a charm except charms don't work so It works anyway.

it's not quite that simple... they develop the disc read error problem due to Sony being lazy and trying to stop piracy without putting any real effort into it, or testing their design... it has to do with the voltage of the laser that reads the discs. Which is why some PS2s will play CD games perfectly, and some won't play them at all, and some will play DVD games, but can't play CD games...

in conclusion, don't buy anything from Sony, they don't care if it works or not as long as they get your money.
