Sorry, I thought I had the Metal Mech book, but upon further inspection, I don't. If you could post what booklets you need, I might be able to help you out. I have a bunch to games I don't even have. I've been saving them in case I end up with them, but if you have a tempting offer...

Yes, E-Bay can be a great place, can't it? Especially if the seller ends up in your area! I had a friend who got a PC controller for .99! Awesome!

If you can't find a real manual, you can always have the Online Version...

Well, I do have it(hence the scan), but I do believe I just have one, so it's not for trade. I might get a chance to do a NES inventory within a week or so, which then I'll know for sure what I have doubles of. Thanks.

I just ask everyone I know, lots of people have 'em just laying around :) I usually just bring it up, and then say that I'm starting to collect them. This find was from IRC. I mentioned my TG-16 that I want to get rid of in exchange for NES carts. He said 'well, I'll see what I have, but I don't know if I'll want to trade.' At that point I thought I was out of luck. Then he said 'What I'm saying is, I'll give you some NES games' so I was happy :)

I think the best deal I ever had was trading off a bunch of my old horror B-movie videos for a bunch of NES games. I wish I could remember which games I recieved in the trade...

Well, I posted it before, but since we're on the topic of my luck...

Friend brings me broken computer
while hooking it up I mention that I want his NES games
he said I can have them for fixing the computer
finish hooking it up
press power button
boots up perfectly, I didn't have to do anything

next day I gain 24 NES carts, and NES, a game genie with book, a zapper, an NES MAX controller, and a play guide from back in the day.

So that was essentially the same thing, except it was for more stuff and I didn't have to pay anything.

and this just popped into my head. I was on the phone with my girlfriend last night, and she says her friend just gave her an SNES (I think awesome, that'll be mine soon :)) and this friend also has some NES games that I can have, she just has to find them.

The moral of this story is, ask everyone you know, then tell everyone you know to ask everyone they know :)
