Why do people sell their stuff in such shops? In most cases you can make much more on eBay or somewhere...

Yeah $9 is pretty pathetic for 2 console and some games. You might as well give it to charity and get a bit of satisfaction that you've done some good.

That's another possibility. 9$ isn't enough.

It's only $9 credit also. So even if you need the money really badly to pay bills or whatever it's no use. What's that going to get you? A small fraction of a PS2 game? Anyway, enough ranting from me. :x :)

My friend Chuck and I have been boycotting Electronics Boutique for over a year now, and finding games on launch date isn't as easy as it used to be. Yesterday we hit all the usual spots to find Wario Ware Touched!, but couldn't find it. Instead I got this: Hitman 2 (XBox) $10 Then today, we checked all the usual spots again....no Wario Ware, so I picked up all this stuff: Baseball (NES) $5 Batman: Return of the Joker (NES) $5 Clash at Demonhead (NES) $5 Mach Rider (NES) $5 Platoon (NES) $5 Sonic CD (Sega CD, w/ case & manual) $7 HOPEFULLY I'll be getting Wario Ware tomorrow.

Lately I buy all my stuff online, so I don't have problems with not finding newer games.

Congratulations, Roth. That's an awesome haul. Gauntlet is a great game! And I've done some reading about Taboo, how people blame a lot of unfortunate events on that game... and of course Ninja Gaiden III. I'm still hunting for II and III.

I played Taboo a few days before on my pc. It only last 2 or 3 minutes, then I was bored. :P

Oh you lucky bastard, I've been looking for NGIII for EVER! Oh, and what's this about Taboo? I saw that up at one of the places I get NES games, but didn't know what it was. Is it rare? Should I grab it? I'll have to check out the ROM. EDIT: It's a TAROT game? Hahahaha how terrible.

You get to insert a question that I believe has little to no bearing about anything, but it's interesting none-the-less... About the NG III... I almost fell on the floor when I saw it! E-bay is a great household for advertising it, then when you click on it, it says, "THIS IS NOT NINJA GAIDEN III, THIS IS NINJA GAIDEN II..." I hate that... I IMMEDIATELY grabbed it when I saw it... the other gamers that were there saw me grab it, and looked at me like I was crazy when I peed my pants!!! http://robertlbryant.com

when I made my last score I was extremely excited too, I was running all over the store looking for more things. I think the mint boxes and the Gauntlet cart excited me the most :) that's why it's more fun to find games at pawn shops and thrift stores, the excitement of the surprize :)

The last interesting find I made was a near mint Sonic 1 for Genesis at a video game store. It's nothing Nintendo, so I didn't appreciate that much, but I call it a find... :)

I just love 16-bit graphics. and the SNES has too much slowdown in almost all of the games.

... I don't play games with slowdowns. I love the SNES for its great RPGs. No chance for slowdowns there... The Genesis is good for shooters and stuff.
My next console after the Dreamcast might be a Genesis. I want to play all good RPGs of it.
